A basketball court made of old sneakers

The world-famous sportswear brand Nike, together with the design studio Accept & Proceed, created sports and children's playgrounds, the covering of which was made from 20,000 used sneakers.

On the eve of the creation of the playgrounds, special boxes were placed around the city of Belgrade, where everyone could leave their pair of sneakers. Among other things, the company had an educational purpose, because these boxes visually depicted the stages of processing shoes into shavings, which were then used for the playground. I wonder if such sites would be popular in our region?
