Main On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the CallAction team cleaned the bank of the Uzha River in Uzhhorod

Rivers are our waterways, water is our life, and the river must be clean. That is why, on the World Recycling Day, March 18, we decided to clean up the banks of the river.

The team was amazed, because in 3 hours, about 20 volunteers collected 725 kg of waste. Collected with preliminary sorting.

All who came to clean are heroes, without exaggeration. Anyone who was able to come and clean other people's garbage on Saturday morning deserves respect. This honors the volunteers, but does not honor the people who threw this garbage into the river or left it on the shore.

Thank you to everyone who participated. Yes, we did not clean everything (everyone was tired in 3 hours + the bus was fully loaded), but this is not the last cleaning, we plan to do 2 more in the near future. This is not the end, there will be more and bigger.
