Eco-Education at the Youth Academy named after Bishop Milan Sasik

Do you know what inspires us the most in teaching? - Seeing the growth and awareness of students, supported by the mentors and teachers at the institutions we visit.

This was exactly the spirit of our recent meeting and eco-lesson with Anna Sabadosh and the students of the Youth Academy named after Bishop Milan Shashik.

A few years ago, we helped install paper containers for separate waste collection through the #callaction project, initiating recycling at the academy thanks to Maria Sabelnikova’s efforts.

Understanding the harm landfills cause to our environment and health, the idea of sorting and sending waste for further processing has been supported and developed to this day.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see the seeds of environmental awareness, nurtured by the support of mentors, take root and grow! 🌱💚🌍
