LLC "Zakarpatekovtorsyrovyna" expresses sincere gratitude to the Uzhhorod Lyceum "Intellect" community, especially Director Nataliya Makar, for their active participation in charitable and volunteer projects supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and environmental initiatives throughout 2025.
School Community Assists Soldiers
Students, teachers, and parents united their efforts to help our defenders by providing thermal underwear and socks, hygiene products and repellents, as well as children’s drawings and paper guardian angels. Special recognition goes to participation in the nationwide eco-campaign for collecting plastic bottle caps for prosthetics for Heroes.
"Heart of Kindness" Collects Caps
The metal structure "Heart of Kindness," installed in the lyceum, was daily filled with colorful bottle caps. In total, 175 kg of this material was collected and sent for proper recycling.
Meeting with Defenders
At the closing of the campaign, representatives of LLC "Zakarpatekovtorsyrovyna," including Ruslan Shvarts, and members of the Uzhhorod Territorial Defense Battalion — 6th Rifle Battalion, Military Unit A7029, emphasized to the children the importance of even the smallest assistance, as it brings a great victory closer. Students thanked the defenders for their courage and resilience, shared about this year’s school volunteer initiatives, and primary school students greeted the guests with upcoming Christmas and New Year wishes.
Collaboration and Future Plans
It is an honor for the organization to be part of this collaboration and contribute with the "EcoBus" to transport collected materials for recycling. The lyceum received a certificate of appreciation from the NGO "Pomahatory," and volunteer work continues.
Special thanks to partners and friends of the campaign: students of the Uzhhorod Vocational Training Center (Director S. M. Tymko) for creating the "Heart of Kindness," volunteer mother Yu. V. Ponzel, and everyone who participated in the collection of caps. LLC "Zakarpatekovtorsyrovyna" invites everyone to support similar campaigns, turning useful habits into real help for Ukraine.
