On April 23, despite challenging weather conditions, an inspiring event took place in Uzhhorod — the eco-party "Together on the Eco Wave." The event brought together students, eco-activists, representatives of public organizations, and everyone concerned about environmental protection.
The purpose of the event was to foster environmental awareness among young people, promote sustainable practices in daily life, and create a platform for exchanging creative ideas to protect the environment. Special attention was given to the importance of uniting the efforts of eco-activists, public organizations, and municipal authorities to strengthen the environmental movement in the region.
It was inspiring to see conscious and motivated young people who, despite the weather, attended the eco-party. Participants had the opportunity to engage with like-minded speakers, ask questions, share experiences, and present their own projects and ideas. The best student initiatives were recognized and awarded valuable prizes.
Each participant left the event with new knowledge, fresh inspiration, eco-friendly gifts, and a certificate of participation.
The event was organized by the Center for Innovation and Development of Uzhhorod National University and the "Green Varosh" NGO, with the support of the Department for Culture, Youth, and Sports of the Uzhhorod City Council.

Anna Sabadosh — Expert, eco-consultant, and Head of the "Green Varosh" NGO;
Ruslan Shvarts — Head of the Secondary Raw Materials Collection Station;
Nataliya Yakubyk — Director of AVE Uzhhorod LLC;
Mark Melnychenko — Eco-activist, gardener, and blogger.
"Together on the Eco Wave" is not just a learning opportunity but a platform for building a strong eco-community, working together for a better future for our city and region.
